Exciting news – we are into our third week of building the new school at Tema New Town. Our intern Aris Kapsanakis fresh from volunteering for a British Government scheme in Ghana, was so impressed with Ghana and our efforts that he has agreed to come back and help with the building. He is a graduate of Birmingham University and hails from Thessaloniki, Greece.
During this three week period, the ground was cleared and currently work is underway on the foundations. It is quite challenging work in the hot sun, but a tremendous experience for this talented young man. Aris’s position has been sponsored by the Maria Tsakos Foundation and we are very grateful for this.
